About Becky
I’m a younger menopausal Marathoner and running coach in Oklahoma. After enduring several surgeries, 2 rounds of menopause, and eventually a full hysterectomy caused by Endometriosis, I searched for younger menopausal endurance athletes like me. Unable to find anyone in a similar situation, I had to make my own way back to faster paces and longer distances in a new body without hormones. I am now proud to say I’m #fasterasamaster
What Inspires You?
I am naturally very competitive – with myself. I love to continually learn how to push past my own barriers. Though I mostly try to break my own personal records, I’m probably racing you on the treadmill too 😉
In your own words, why is recovery important?
Resilience has been a huge game-changer for me. It has helped me regain a sense of well being after battling anxiety and insomnia after surgery. I love using the oil each night to help me stay asleep through the night so that I can have enough energy to knock out my quality sessions each week. Rest and recovery really are the keys to achieve gains.
Why Resilience?
Train smarter, not harder.
